Chateau de Barbirey Wedding In Idyllic CountrysidePublished in Style Me Pretty
When we arrived for the enchanting Chateau de Barbirey Wedding in Burgundy we hardly could believe how much beauty was all around us. Jacqueline and Gideon wanted a small and intimate wedding with close family and friends, so dreaming of a Chateau de Barbirey Wedding in the countryside sounded perfect.
They came all the way from California, Los Angeles to enjoy the beauty of France. They chose for their French Chateau Wedding a beautiful 17th-century castle located in the Burgundy region in France. The garden reminded a little of English parks with the gooses near the small lake. From the hundred-year-old cobblestone streets to the French blue shutters on all 36 windows, this location seemed like a true fairytale.

From Bride
Peter and Veronika were such a pleasure to collaborate with on my wedding day at Chateau De Barbirey. They had such a warm presence and eye for detail, that it made it comfortable and seamless while having our photos taken. My husband and I were so pleased with the outcome and couldn’t stop looking at the images.
What impressed us most, was their attention to detail and capturing candid and intimate moments between my family and friends. They captured moments that brought tears to my eyes and allows me to relieve that magical day. They are true artists and I highly recommend them to anyone!

French Chateau FairytalePublished in Style Me Pretty and The Cover in Novelty magazine
Kristina Carla and Daniel—a beautiful, sweet, and kind couple from the US—held their destination wedding in a French Chateau Saint Loup that probably has the most character of any destination we’ve ever worked in. It’s a unique place with a huge authentic fireplace and big old French windows covered in dust. It was so charismatic that it sometimes even freaked us out. The whole wedding was managed by the talented A Very Beloved Wedding from Vienna. We worked closely with Elisabeth on the wedding day, and it was an inspiration to watch how she works. She is also a talented stylist and florist, helping us to style the bride’s details, dress, and bridal party pictures. Truly we can’t thank her enough for her hard work.
The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress by Lazaro. We were lucky with the weather, which was important because the ceremony was held outside in front of the chateau’s main entrance. It was the kind of ceremony that we almost forgot to shoot because it was so beautiful. The cocktail hour and reception were in the stunning Chateau Orangerie. Scroll down! A whole gallery full of prettiness awaits you!

Colorful European Destination WeddingStyle Me Pretty
From Bride…
We wanted our wedding to have a magical spark. Like something just out of Lord of the Rings. The lavish greenery with carefully picked flowers, the glimmering candlelight, the mix of colors, smoke coming out of cocktails, and soft piano music all played out to create an unforgettable atmosphere for all of us.
My husband and I both love nature. Therefore we chose a place set amid Slovak mountains surrounded by forests and rivers. The castle itself is packed with ancient charm. It is a beautifully renovated renaissance hotel with a gothic ruin in the middle and we immediately fell in love with it. Because of the historical settings where stone is omnipresent, we wanted to warm up the courtyard and so-called “Stone galley” by a combination of marsala, blackberry, powder and cream tones underlined by deep green. The flower arrangements were intricate, yet somehow negligent at the same time.
We gathered our guests one day in advance for an informal barbeque party. This simple act made all the difference, as the day of the wedding the people already knew each other and could fully enjoy the wedding itself. We didn’t care much about local conventions. We skipped the obligatory folk music and invited Beatles revival group and a punk rock band instead. We wanted everything to be the way we imagined and though it took months of planning, it was absolutely worth it.

An Intimate Destination Wedding In Ancient Ruins Of San GalganoStyle Me Pretty
Whitney and Steven’s intimate destination wedding was what the dreams are made of. From saying the vows in ancient abbey of San Galgano, drinking Champagne among the Tuscan landscape and to an incredible al fresco reception full of emotions toasts by the family and their closest friends. The ceremony was in a unique San Galgano, a roofless 12th-century abbey, on a warm and beautiful day in late September. They had rented an amazing venue called Villa La Selva in Tuscany, and there, under a sky of twinkling lights, they had the most spectacular dinner feast. The traditional Italian meal was served family style and wine flowed freely late into the night. Throughout the evening’s celebration, the people they love most in the world shared stories that made them laugh, made them cry, and left them feeling so incredibly blessed to have such amazing people share this truly remarkable day with them.

High-Fashion Wedding Inspired By Movie La Dolce VitaGreen wedding shoes
Inspiration for the day was definitely Fellini’s masterpiece La Dolce Vita. The challenge was to bring the black and white film into colorful real life wedding – make it a bit of a combination of the old La Dolce Vita movie spirit mashed with modern Dolce & Gabbana colorful editorials. We both love Italian fashion, food, wine and overall the way of life. La Dolce Vita movie was a great source of inspiration for our key graphic visuals as well as our outfits. We wanted to have a wedding that will be completely different from the traditional weddings we have seen around us. Gladly we found a location that resembles a little bit the Italian countryside.
The tough part about the venue was to push back its “too romantic and rustic” atmosphere and give it the high-fashion and modern vibe we wanted. To make it our own wedding, we did as much as possible to cut off the formalities associated with the civil weddings in our country, such as impersonal speeches of the licensed officiant from the local municipality. Instead, we asked Lenka’s father to have a speech about us, right before we said yes to each other. Amazing speech that was, touching, sentimental but at the same time full of fun!

A Fabulous Italian Riviera WeddingPublished in Brides
Caroline and Mike’s destination wedding in the Italian Riviera was the highlight of our wedding season. Their four-day celebration was an incredible experience that we’ll never forget. Everything was planned to pure perfection by Exclusive Italy Weddings. On Thursday, we joined the wedding party on a boat excursion around the Riviera Coast. Before the cruise, a bridal luncheon was held in the fabulous Hotel Splendido in Portofino. The rehearsal dinner took place in the impeccable Hotel Imperiale, which lies by the sea in Santa Margherita Ligure. Imagine having dinner by that Ligurian Sea, with the fresh air coming from the coast, eating the finest Italian food and a really big plate of ice cream for dessert!
After this amazing evening, the most important day of this four-day celebration awaited us. The weather was just perfect—sunshine and a light breeze. The bride wore a stunning wedding gown by Marchesa. After getting ready, we moved to the even more stunning Villa Durazzo, where we shot the first look, the bridal party pictures, and the reception. If you visit Santa Margherita Ligure, don’t miss this venue, with its breathtaking botanical gardens and beautiful interiors. You can enjoy this Italian Riviera Dream below…

Larina and Ross both live in Hong-Kong, but they decided to have their dream wedding in the South of France. We scheduled their destination engagement session a day before their Big Day. We found the amazing French Chateau Pichon Baron as a backdrop for the session. France has so many incredible venues and chateaux for your wedding day, so it’s difficult to choose just one. In fact, the road from Bordeaux to the Chateau Pichon Baron is called “Les Route Des Chateaux”. When the scans from Richard Photo Lab popped up in the mail we were beyond happy with the results! Larina’s beautiful dress with stylish heels and Ross’ outfit perfectly matched the chateau and its surroundings.

Elegant And Chic Destination Engagement In South Of FranceCalanques National Park, Marseille
Marseille and it’s beautiful Parc national des Calanques with stunning scenery were the backdrops for Yancy and Tony’s engagement session.
