High-Fashion Wedding Inspired By Movie La Dolce Vita

Inspiration for the day was definitely Fellini’s masterpiece La Dolce Vita. The challenge was to bring the black and white film into colorful real life wedding – make it a bit of a combination of the old La Dolce Vita movie spirit mashed with modern Dolce & Gabbana colorful editorials. We both love Italian fashion, food, wine and overall the way of life.  La Dolce Vita movie was a great source of inspiration for our key graphic visuals as well as our outfits. We wanted to have a wedding that will be completely different from the traditional weddings we have seen around us. Gladly we found a location that resembles a little bit the Italian countryside.

The tough part about the venue was to push back its “too romantic and rustic” atmosphere and give it the high-fashion and modern vibe we wanted. To make it our own wedding, we did as much as possible to cut off the formalities associated with the civil weddings in our country, such as impersonal speeches of the licensed officiant from the local municipality. Instead, we asked Lenka’s father to have a speech about us, right before we said yes to each other. Amazing speech that was, touching, sentimental but at the same time full of fun!

Caroline and Mike’s destination wedding on the Italian Riviera was the highlight of our wedding season. Their unforgettable four-day celebration was meticulously planned by Exclusive Italy Weddings. On Thursday, we embarked on a stunning boat excursion along the Riviera Coast with the wedding party. Before setting sail, we enjoyed a delightful bridal luncheon at the fabulous Hotel Splendido in Portofino. The rehearsal dinner was held at the impeccable Hotel Imperiale, perfectly situated by the sea in Santa Margherita Ligure. Picture dining by the Ligurian Sea, savoring the finest Italian cuisine with a breath of fresh coastal air, and topping it all off with a generous serving of ice cream for dessert!

Following this incredible evening, the most anticipated day of the four-day celebration arrived. With perfect weather—sunshine and a gentle breeze—the stage was set for an unforgettable ceremony. The bride looked stunning in her Marchesa wedding gown. Once preparations were complete, we headed to the breathtaking Villa Durazzo for the first look, bridal party portraits, and reception. We decided to stay in the picturesque village of Ravello! An enchanting mountaintop setting on Italy’s most beautiful coastline and views that over the years have captivated and inspired artists and hearts filled with passion! The Most Romantic Anniversary Photo Shoot In Rainy Paris

Anniversary photo shoot in Paris is always a great idea. Angela and Vlad came all the way from California to celebrate their 7th anniversary in the most romantic city in the world – Paris. They weren’t so lucky in terms of weather, but in the end, the result of their shoot was truly one of kind. Rainy Paris can be even more romantic than sunny Paris.

From Angela: Since we just got married, it has been my dream to travel to Paris for our five year anniversary. Five years went by and the trip just didn’t seem realistic. We just had our second baby, bought our first home and I was really sick earlier that year so traveling across the globe was not even in the conversation. But the desire in my heart was still there, quietly tugging at me. This trip was so special to us! It was really refreshing to be able to leave the kids and go adventure together, just the two of us. Stay out late, ride bicycles, and do other normal activities that get a little complicated to enjoy once you have two babies.
Paris was everything I had imagined. It stole my heart, just like I knew it would. I fell madly in love with the old, charming city. Being a photographer myself, I couldn’t imagine being in Paris and not taking the opportunity to get our photos taken to save these memories forever. The shoot was not at all what we had anticipated. The weather changed dramatically before the shoot. I imagined warm, golden photos but in the end, it turned out way more romantic than we could ever imagine. The photos turned out wonderful but the experience of running around in the rain with my love.

Larina and Ross both living in Hong-Kong decided to have their dream wedding in South of France. We scheduled their destination engagement session a day before their Big Day. We found an amazing French Chateau Pichon Baron as a backdrop for the engagement session. France has so many incredible venues and chateaux for your wedding day so it is really difficult to choose one. Even the road from Bordeaux to Chateau Pichon Baron is called “Les Route Des Chateaux”. When the scans from Richard Photo Lab popped up in the mail we were beyond happy with the result! Larina’s beautiful dress with stylish heels and Ross’ outfit perfectly matched with the chateau and its surroundings.

Romantic Engagement Dinner In Ravello

Elaine and Jeff: the sweetest couple ever. Maybe you saw their morning session in Positano. The previous day we met each other on the square of Ravello. It was a summer day in Italy with a slight breeze in Elaine’s airy dress that was perfect for some flowing pictures. We took a stroll through the narrow streets of Ravello and ended up on the terrace of the spectacular Hotel Caruso. It’s a perfect place for a romantic engagement dinner in Ravello. We drank some glasses of wine and talked about their life in California. We will remember this shoot forever. Elaine and Jeff: we are beyond thankful for your trust and we literally can’t wait to be at your wedding! It’s an honor for us.

Marseille and it’s beautiful national park with stunning scenery called Parc national des Calanques were the backdrops for Yancy and Tony’s engagement session. The national park des Calanques is a place you have to visit when you are near Marseille. Yancy was a guest at a wedding where we were the wedding photographers.
We met each other at a wedding in Bordeaux. Tony and Yancy are super nice and a kind couple from Hong-Kong. Yancy wore a gorgeous red dress which was an amazing decision. This destination engagement in South of France was one of our favourites! Richard Photo Lab did their magic and you can see the result below.

The beautiful Jessica and Tony, who live in New York City, chose Italy for their honeymoon. They were also guests at a wedding in Tuscany that we shot! We love that wedding guests take advantage of having a professional photographer near at hand. They booked the beautiful Hotel Lucchesi for their trip in Florence. We immediately fell in love with views from the hotel rooftop. After we’d done some pictures with the incredible scenery, we went into the morning streets of Florence. If you plan a honeymoon here you should remember this hotel, because it’s very close to the center as well as to the Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens.
