Annick and Robert—a beautiful and sweet couple who live in New York City—decided to escape the the city that never sleeps and get married in the hills of Tuscany. We are always so happy when the couple approach us their own idea for the pre-wedding photos. We shot their engagement photos in a picturesque little Tuscany town called Monticchielo. We were amazed by its beauty. No tourists, the birds singing, cats walking through the streets, flowers at every single corner—it was like a piece of heaven on Earth. If you are interested in their wedding day, which was perfectly planned by Laura Bravi Events, click here.

When we arrived at the enchanting Chateau Barbirey in Burgundy we hardly could believe how much beauty was all around us. Jacqueline and Gideon wanted a small and intimate wedding with close family and friends, so dreaming of a French of a chateau in countryside sounded perfect. They came all the way from California, Los Angeles to enjoy the beauty of France. They chose for their French Chateau Wedding a beautiful 17th-century castle located in the Burgundy region of France. The garden reminded a little of English parks with the gooses near the small lake. From the hundred-year-old cobblestone streets to the French blue shutters on all 36 windows, this location seemed like a true fairytale.

Peter and Veronika were such a pleasure to collaborate with on my wedding day. They had such a warm presence and eye for detail, that it made it comfortable and seamless while having our photos taken. My husband and I were so pleased with the outcome and couldn’t stop looking at the images. What impressed us most, was their attention to detail and capturing candid and intimate moments between my family and friends. They captured moments that brought tears to my eyes and allows me to relieve that magical day. They are true artists and I highly recommend then to anyone!

It was a beautiful sunny day in the Tuscan countryside. We met Annick and Robert a day before their wedding when we did an engagement session with them in Monticchiello. They hired an amazing fine art wedding planner Laura Bravi so we already knew that this wedding is going to be super pretty. We came this time the three of us, Peter and Veronika and our new member Lubica at beautiful Tuscan villa Terre Di Nano. She is an amazing stylist and florist. You have probably seen her gorgeous work on her Instagram (@floretally). You can see her talent on the photos from morning getting ready styled pictures of invitations, shoes, bride’s accessories.
The place of a ceremony simply couldn’t be better. Amazing backlight, incredible views and the love that was so obvious between Annick and Robert highlighted this wedding in Tuscany. When meets fine art wedding planner with fine art wedding photographer you know it’s the best combo ever. Outdoor reception styled to a perfection thanks to Il Profumo dei Fiori is waiting for you.
Peter and Veronika have a rare and unique gift; not only are they able to capture emotion and atmosphere and detail with such an ethereal touch, they are incredible people whose enthusiasm and genuine excitement made our wedding day truly special. It is wonderful to encounter people who are so passionate about their craft and approach each job like it is the first. Like spending time with old friends, they put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy the whole experience.
I wanted our wedding photos to tell a unique story and appear the way that I imagined we would feel on that day, with a softness and lightness of being. Their images achieved that and so much more! We were so excited to see so many spontaneous and precious moments captured that really convey what our wedding meant to us. Their images bear an elegance and timelessness and we know that many years from now, we will still look back on these photos and be transported to that beautiful place and those cherished memories. We can’t thank them enough for that gift.

One advantage of our work is that we get to travel through Europe a lot. After the amazing wedding in France, we had another one in our favorite part of Italy—Tuscany—where Nina and Andrew spent the most beautiful day of their lives. They jetted their families and friends from gloomy England to enjoy the sunny Italian weather. Their special day was planned by Weddings in Tuscany, and everything went so smoothly.
The bride agreed to shoot some bridal boudoir portraits in the morning. We are always delighted when brides allow us to capture some intimate moments on their last day as a single lady. After getting ready, we moved to the stunning Castelo di Oliveto, where the ceremony and reception were held. Nina had their reception tables decorated with herbs rather than flowers. And it was a great choice! This organic outdoor wedding in Tuscany became one of our favorite weddings ever.
Caroline and Mike’s destination wedding in the Italian Riviera was the highlight of our wedding season. Their four-day celebration was an incredible experience that we’ll never forget. Everything was planned to pure perfection by Exclusive Italy Weddings. On Thursday, we joined the wedding party on a boat excursion around the Riviera Coast. Before the cruise, a bridal luncheon was held in the fabulous Hotel Splendido in Portofino. The rehearsal dinner took place in the impeccable Hotel Imperiale, which lies by the sea in Santa Margherita Ligure. Imagine having dinner by that Ligurian Sea, with the fresh air coming from the coast, eating the finest Italian food and a really big plate of ice cream for dessert!
After this amazing evening, the most important day of this four-day celebration awaited us. The weather was just perfect—sunshine and a light breeze. The bride wore a stunning wedding gown by Marchesa. After getting ready, we moved to the even more stunning Villa Durazzo, where we shot the first look, the bridal party pictures, and the reception. If you visit Santa Margherita Ligure, don’t miss this venue, with its breathtaking botanical gardens and beautiful interiors. You can enjoy this Italian Riviera Dream below…
Kristina Carla and Daniel—a beautiful, sweet, and kind couple from the US—held their destination wedding in a French Chateau Saint-Loup that probably has the most character of any destination we’ve ever worked in. It’s a unique place with a huge authentic fireplace and big old French windows covered in dust. It was so charismatic that it sometimes even freaked us out. The whole wedding was managed by the talented A Very Beloved Wedding from Vienna. We worked closely with Elisabeth on the wedding day, and it was an inspiration to watch how she works. She is also a talented stylist and florist, helping us to style the bride’s details, dress, and bridal party pictures. Truly we can’t thank her enough for her hard work.
The bride wore a beautiful wedding dress by Lazaro. We were lucky with the weather, which was important, because the ceremony was held outside in front of the chateau’s main entrance. It was the kind of ceremony that we almost forgot to shoot because it was so beautiful. The cocktail hour and reception were in the stunning chateau Orangerie. Scroll down! A whole gallery full of prettiness awaits you!
Laura and Aaron exchanged the colorful Las Vegas for the even more colorful Manarola and their destination engagement shoot in Cinque Terre. Laura wore a beautiful dress that was an absolutely perfect fit with the Manarola surroundings. Her amazing make-up and hairstyle were prepared by the talented Lidija from Malino Beauty. We woke up early to catch the sunrise. As a bonus, we had Manarola completely to ourselves. From the sounds of the waves of the Mediterranean sea to the incredibly picturesque village, this is the perfect location for your engagement or anniversary photo shoot.

Whitney and Steven’s intimate destination wedding was what the dreams are made of. From saying the vows in ancient abbey of San Galgano, drinking Champagne among the Tuscan landscape and to an incredible al fresco reception full of emotions toasts by the family and their closest friends. They tie the knot in San Galgano, a roofless 12th-century abbey, on a warm and beautiful day in late September. They had rented an amazing venue called Villa La Selva in Tuscany, and there, under a sky of twinkling lights, they had the most spectacular dinner feast. The traditional Italian meal was served family style and wine flowed freely late into the night. Throughout the evening’s celebration, the people they love most in the world shared stories that made them laugh, made them cry, and left them feeling so incredibly blessed to have such amazing people share this truly remarkable day with them.

Provence in South of France is one of our favourites regions of France where to get married. Emery And William came all the way from California to tie the knot in beautiful Provence in South of France. Their destination Provence wedding was about being with their friends and family and celebrating in a beautiful place at a private villa Mas Notre Dame inEygalieres in Provence. They got engaged in Provence – Gordes at the hotel de tourrel so it made sense for them to return to Provence that was so magical for them. After the incredible wedding in Tuscany, another wedding was waiting for us. Stephanie and Ben decided to say “I do” in the heart of Tuscany at a venue called Agroturismo Montelucci immersed in the magical Tuscan landscape. The destination wedding was perfectly planned and designed by Marry Me In Tuscany. The ceremony took place in the cutest Tuscan town of Civitella. Amazing flowers arrangements were created by truly talented Roberta from La Gardenia. Montelucci was the perfect scenery for an al fresco celebration under the Tuscan sun complete with gelato, held under the string lights and the dreamiest tablescape you have ever seen is waiting for you…

The beautiful Jessica and Tony, who live in New York City, chose Italy for their honeymoon. They were also guests at a wedding in Tuscany that we shot! We love that wedding guests take advantage of having a professional photographer near at hand. They booked the beautiful Hotel Lucchesi for their trip in Florence. We immediately fell in love with views from the hotel rooftop. After we’d done some pictures with the incredible scenery, we went into the morning streets of Florence. If you plan a honeymoon here you should remember this hotel, because it’s very close to the center as well as to the Ponte Vecchio and Boboli Gardens.

What we love the most about being destination wedding photographers is that we are able to shoot over multiple days during a destination wedding to create a whole story. Starting by engagement session, followed by rehearsal dinner and then a few more intimate shots of our beautiful brides. We want them to have a special wedding day from the very beginning, to let them enjoy their last moments as fiancée, Miss and single woman. There is a mix of beautiful emotions inside of every bride and we love capturing these unique and exceptional moments full of tenderness, expectations, intimacy and excitement.
Inspiration for this Bridal Boudoir photoshoot was very simple – white color. White as a symbol of innocence, purity, simplicity, freedom, and a white as a bride..

Is there a better idea when you are in Central Europe and you are crazy in love than having a pre-wedding photo shoot in Vienna? Hanka and Jozef have been our friends for years, so when they decided to tie the knot we were beyond happy. They are some of the kindest people we know. We were inspired to do their engagement shoot in Vienna simply because we love the city so much. Ponk Rentals prepared the beautiful bouquet as a prop.
We often go here to enjoy its beauty and to visit our friends from A Very Beloved Wedding. The queen Maria Terezia lived there so imagine how this city looks like. Wide streets, every building is a piece of art and when you get the most flattering morning light reflecting from the white walls all around you’ll get lighting like in the pictures below.
